In this passage from John, Jesus declares the final of a series of 'I am' statements that are scattered through John 6 to John 15. This last statement is 'I am the true vine'. This is an allegory about how we, as Christians bear fruit and show God's glory by remaining in Him. The Youtube clip is a clever cartoon which illustrates this truth.
