Jonah is a prophet who is disobedient, petulant, angry with God and sometimes suicidal. Just goes to show that God is able to use anyone - with all our faults and failings, God can use us for His purposes. This short book also shows us God's compassion for all - He spares Nineveh when they repent and turn to Him.  This Youtube clip gives a well-narrated commentary on the Book of Jonah with many details that are not in my podcast - only 9 minutes long too!
